Summary
- No tracking. This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
- Only what you send. I collect personal information only when you choose to contact me or book a meeting.
- Never sold. I do not sell, rent, or trade your information, or use it for anyone else’s marketing.
Who I am
This website is operated by Turinske & Associates, LLC, a consulting business based in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, United States. In this statement, “I,” “me,” and “my” mean Turinske & Associates, LLC.
Information I collect
When you use the request form, I receive what you type in: your name, email address, and message, plus any optional details you choose to give, such as job title, company, industry, phone number, preferred contact method, services of interest, current business system, timeline, and how you heard about me.
When you book a consultation, Microsoft Bookings collects your name, email address, and the time you choose, along with anything you add to the booking.
When you email or call me, I receive your contact details and whatever you share.
When you visit the site, my web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time, to keep the site running and secure. I do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
How I use it
- To reply to your request and schedule a consultation.
- To prepare proposals, statements of work, and agreements if we work together.
- To keep business, tax, and legal records.
- To keep this website secure and working.
I will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing email unless you ask me to.
Services that help me run this site
A few trusted providers handle information on my behalf, only to deliver their service:
- Formspree delivers request-form submissions to my email.
- Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Bookings provide my email, calendar, and online scheduling.
- My website hosting provider stores this site and its server logs.
These providers have their own privacy policies and may store information in the United States or other countries. I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep your information only as long as needed to respond to you, carry out any work we agree on, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. After that, I delete it.
How I protect it
- Two-factor authentication. My business accounts and devices are protected with secure two-factor authentication, so a password alone is never enough to get in.
- Secure connection. This site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection.
- Confidentiality. Client data shared during an engagement is covered by a signed non-disclosure agreement and the security terms of my Master Services Agreement.
Working within your security policies. Most organizations require anyone with access to their systems or data to use two-factor authentication. Because I already work this way, I can meet those requirements from day one, whether that means signing in through your identity provider, using your multi-factor sign-in, or following your own access and device policies. See how I work securely in your systems.
No online system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable care to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me at any time to see the personal information I have about you, correct it, or delete it, unless I must keep it for legal reasons. You can also ask me to stop contacting you. Just email or call me; I will reply within one business day and act on your request within 30 days.
Visitors from Canada
I handle personal information of people in Canada in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You may ask to access or correct your information as described above. Some of my service providers store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries. If you are not satisfied with my response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies and saved settings
This site does not set cookies. If you use the display settings, your choices are saved in your own browser so they apply on every page. They are never sent to me. You can turn this off or delete it on the Cookie Preferences page.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this statement
